American Chopper – The Jerk – Off
Well, I’m a bit late on posting on the subject, it’s taken me this long to calm down. Prior to watching the “Build-Off” it was pretty clear to me and I think most of you who was going to win. Of course Paul Jr, not because he’s the best builder but because of who he had to compete with.
- Paul Sr. – The media has really turned Paul into a monster, I’m not saying he’s a great guy, but hey – did you watch the earlier shows? I would have been pissed at Jr too, he never worked. Sr. doesn’t seem to be too involved anymore and his guys are destroying his reputation, name and bikes — i.e. Jason
- Jessie James – He screwed over America’s sweet heart, he’d be lucky to get anything at this point. Media has also made him into a monster.
American Chopper used to be a great show, great for inspiration and because it was about bike building. Not so much any more, it is a huge drama between his (PJD) and his father with clips of some “Builds”. The only thing OCC and PJD build is “Theme Bikes” which are basically nothing more than furniture for some rich guys to display. They aren’t built to ride — they are built for decoration.
Rant #1 – O.C.C. They have some great dudes there, especially Rick who is a great master of metal. It blows me away to see Jason “The designer” running the show there, he draws these ugly bikes and then the guys are supposed to build that crap. Senior and the group need to take some advice and read the feeds, quit letting the artist dictate the build and start building like you used to.
Rant #2 – P.J.D. I have some respect for Paul and the gang, but come on — your over doing it with decoration and other bullshit. Keep it simple stupid. I respect ya for having no plans, but that’s because everything is already made, you’re just putting it together. You guys are talented, do something with it.
Back to the American Chopper jerk-off
So I followed the #chopperlive feed and was just blown away by the comments. Some were hilarious, but it was clear that this was a popularity contest and neither Sr or Jesse had a chance in hell.
OCC Bike?
Of course Sr left it up to that dips hit Jason who designed an electric version of Jr’s gears of war bike and it ended up looking like a snow mobile. It was hilarious to see those guys try to ride that thing, they all seemed to just go in circles – bet they couldn’t go straight for a mile. Comments on Twitter pretty much came to the conclusion I did, there were noobs that thought that was the “Coolie”est of the two – dipshits 
Paul Jr Build Off Bike
Paul Jr. Had good intensions, and the bike was looking great in the beginning and then he just totally ruined it by over doing it. It was like he Bedazzled the bike – LOL. Dipshit. The tweets for Jr were crazy and some very emotional. Some just on there to say “FU” to Jesse which was just hilarious as well.
Jesse James - True Build Off winner
Jesse James bike was amazing, it was a true build from the frame up. Nothing to bolt on, nothing shiny that he didn’t make. He definitely won the build off in my opinion and other builders opinion as well. He got the shaft for sure, many tweeters on the channel were saying “Same old bike”, “That’s nothing compared to the Gears of War Bike” and other crap like that which made me chuckle. If these douche bags had ever tried to build a bike, they would realize pretty quickly that Jesse’s was hands down the best bike and the only one that could ride 50 + Miles and not have to worry about something falling off.
